Description

Fl. rounded, 100 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, rounded at apex or sometimes notched or truncate, scarcely mucronate, opening pure white, becoming yellowish white (4D), spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, blunt, with midrib showing; corona shallow bowl-shaped, ribbed, white or whitish, with a very broad band of deep reddish pink at rim becoming near to light yellowish pink 38D, mouth straight, regularly frilled, with rim crenate. Mid-season to late
