Fl. rounded, 114 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, rounded at apex, mucronate, spreading, somewhat concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more nearly ovate, shouldered at base, not noticeably mucronate, plane; corona bowl-shaped, smooth, yellow, with olive green at base and a broad and clearly defined band of deep reddish pink at rim, mouth straight, frilled.
