Fl. rounded, 85 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, truncate, with slight white mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments angled at base; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, with mouth expanded and loosely frilled, rim more or less entire.
