Fls 2-5 per stem, star-shaped, 35 mm wide; perianth segments oblong, blunt, mucronate, brilliant yellow 12B, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, yellow-orange (16B), mouth straight and even, with rim entire.
