Fl. forming a double triangle, 110 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, vivid yellow 9A, with white mucro, spreading or slightly inflexed, plane, with margins minutely incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, with midrib showing, overlapping one-third to a half; the inner segments narrower, square-shouldered at base, somewhat inflexed at base and reflexed above, with margins more deeply incurling; corona cylindrical below, slightly flared from about mid-point, smooth at base, ribbed above, light orange (23A), mouth slightly flared, frilled, with rim irregularly crenate.
