Fl. 85 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments ovate, only very slightly mucronate, vivid yellow 12A, strongly reflexed, plane or twisted, smooth, membranaceous, more or less deeply overlapping; corona cylindrical, constricted at base, smooth below, lightly ribbed above, slightly darker in tone than the perianth segments, mouth flared and wavy, with rim notched and crenate.
