Description |
Fl. rounded, 100 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, very broad, rounded or somewhat truncate, scarcely mucronate, greenish white (155A), with margins incurling at apex, smooth and of heavy substance, deeply overlapping; the outer whorl spreading or slightly inflexed, plane or somewhat concave; the second whorl more strongly inflexed; the centre whorl irregularly arranged, strongly inflexed, more deeply concave or with margins folded inwards; corona segments in several whorls, more than three-quarters the length of the petaloid segments and interspersed among them, very broad, orange-pink (31B); the outer whorls loosely arranged, spreading, plane; the whorls at centre more tightly arranged, inflexed, with margins wavy or deeply folded in.
