Fl. rounded, 100 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in two whorls, very broadly ovate, rounded, brilliant greenish yellow 6A, with slight white mucro, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the outer whorl spreading, a little concave; the inner segments inflexed, with margins deeply or very deeply incurving; corona segments three-quarters the length of the petaloid segments, broad, darker in tone (12A), plane or frilled.
