Description |
Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, regularly arranged, broadly ovate in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, not noticeably mucronate, golden yellow, a little creased and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half; the outer whorls 38 mm long, spreading, plane to a little concave; the centre whorl narrower, shorter, strongly inflexed, with margins incurling; corona segments 24 mm long, interspersed among the petaloid segments, broad, mid-orange, touched yellow, creased and a little frilled, slightly inflexed, with rim entire. Mid-season. Strongly scented |
