Fl. 85 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments 40 mm long, broadly oblong, rounded at apex, truncate, yellow, with white mucro, spreading or slightly reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments broadly ovate, blunt, shouldered at base; corona 15 mm long, cup-shaped, broadly ribbed, yellow, with a narrow band of orange at rim, mouth widely expanded, lightly frilled, with rim minutely crenate.
