Fls 3-4 per stem, 55 mm wide, facing slightly downwards; perianth segments broadly ovate in outline, rounded at apex, mucronate, white, spreading, concave, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments blunt at apex, shouldered at base; corona bowl-shaped, deeply ribbed, opening yellow, with a band of pale pink at rim, the whole corona becoming pure white, mouth straight, wavy, with rim entire.
