Fl. rounded, 75 mm wide; perianth segments 31 mm long, very broadly ovate in outline, blunt to rounded at apex, vivid yellow 25A, with slight pale mucro, spreading, plane, with margins a little incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments roundish in outline, rounded at apex, less prominently mucronate; corona 14 mm long, cup-shaped, lightly ribbed, strong orange 25A, mouth straight, wavy, with rim entire.
