Fl. 95 mm wide; perianth segments 40 mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, only very slightly mucronate, vivid yellow 9A, spreading, plane, a little incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, less prominently mucronate, a little creased; corona 24 mm long, funnel-shaped, smooth, vivid yellow 14A, mouth expanded, loosely frilled, entire.
