Description |
Fl. forming a double triangle, 96 mm wide, facing up; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls; the outer whorl 38 mm long, very broadly ovate, shouldered at base, blunt, mucronate, light greenish yellow 3C, with brilliant greenish yellow 6A at base and brilliant greenish yellow 3A at margins at apex, spreading or a little inflexed, concave, with margins slightly wavy, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls successively shorter, deeply concave and more strongly inflexed; the centre whorl brilliant yellow 12B; corona segments 24 mm long, half the width of the perianth segments and interspersed among them, smooth, yellow-orange (17A/B), slightly concave, with margins frilled. Early to mid-season. Sunproof. Strongly scented |
