Fl. rounded, 90 mm wide; perianth segments 35 mm long, very broadly ovate in outline, rounded at apex, mucronate, white, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, blunt, shouldered at base; corona 30 mm long, cylindrical, broadly ribbed, pink, paling to rim and deepening to base, mouth frilled, rim flanged, crenate, split and overlapping in places.
