Fl. star-shaped, 78 mm wide, facing down; perianth segments 35 mm long, oblong, blunt, prominently mucronate, slightly reflexed, twisted, with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments narrower, ovate in outline, acute at apex, less prominently mucronate; corona 37 mm long, cylindrical, angled, mouth flared, wavy, with rim dentate and deeply notched.
