Fl. forming a double triangle, 72 mm wide; perianth segments 31 mm long, ovate, blunt, mucronate, yellow, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 15 mm long, cup-shaped, ribbed, yellow, shading to orange at rim, mouth straight, wavy with rim crenate.
