Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth segments 40 mm wide, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, greenish white (155A), spreading, plane, of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter to one-third; corona 40 mm long, split to base, the six segments forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, half the width of the perianth segments, creased and narrowly ribbed, opening yellow-orange, becoming orange-pink 29A, with brilliant greenish yellow 6A at base, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, lightly frilled; the outer whorl spreading; the inner whorl inflexed. Mid-season. Sunproof. Strongly scented |
