Fl. 95 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments 40 mm long, very broad, rounded at apex, prominently mucronate, light yellow (4D), with yellow-green (1D) at margins, spreading, plane to a little concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, less prominently mucronate, with margins incurved; corona segments 35 mm long, each overlying a perianth segment and of the same width, forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, orange-pink (31B), streaked with light yellow (4D) on opening; the outer whorl spreading, smooth, lightly frilled; the inner whorl inflexed, creased, deeply frilled.
