Description |
Fl. 95 mm long; perianth and other petaloid segments 32 mm long, in four or more whorls, broadly ovate, blunt, yellow, with a pale mucro, smooth and of heavy substance; the outer whorls spreading or slightly inflexed, plane or with margins a little incurved; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed, folded inwards from midrib; corona segments 25 mm long, interspersed among the petaloid segments and of similar length and width to the inner whorls, roundish, a little darker in tone than the petaloid segments, slightly crumpled, frilled.
