Fl. 105 mm wide; perianth segments 40 mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, scarcely mucronate, mid-yellow, spreading, plane or with margins a little incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 35 mm long, cylindrical, smooth, orange, mouth straight, wavy, with rim crenate and narrowly flanged.
