Fl. 95mm wide, facing up; perianth segments 45mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, opening brilliant greenish yellow 4D, becoming greenish white 155A, with a narrow band of brilliant greenish yellow 4D at base and flushed pale yellow throughout, reflexed, plane, a little creased, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, spreading to a little reflexed, with margins incurved; corona 45mm long, cylindrical, smooth, pink (24C), touched (23D) at rim, mouth flared, lightly frilled and markedly lobed, rim crenate. Early. Sweetly scented |
