Description |
Fl. rounded, 78mm wide; perianth and other petaloid sections in three whorls, roundish, bright yellow, with white mucro, concave, smooth and of heavy substance; the outer whorl 30mm long, with margins incurved; the middle whorl a little inflexed; the inner whorl half the length of the outer segments, strongly inflexed, folded deeply inwards from the midrib; the corona segments 15mm long, interspersed between the middle and inner whorls, bright red, crumpled and folded, with margins wavy and lobed.
