Fls 1-2 per stem; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, scarcely mucronate, lemon yellow, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, with margins a little incurved; corona bowl-shaped, broadly ribbed, opening lemon yellow, becoming yellow-ivory, mouth slightly expanded, wavy, with rim minutely crenate.
