Description |
Fl. 100mm wide, facing up; perianth and other petaloid segments 40mm long, light greenish yellow 4C, with light yellow (4D) stripes, in two whorls; the outer whorl roundish, very broad, slightly mucronate, reflexed, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, plane; the inner whorl contained inside the corona, strongly inflexed and folded slightly inwards from midrib; the corona in two whorls, brilliant yellow 13C, with a paler tone (13D) at rim; the outer whorl 40mm long, entire, smooth, mouth flared, lightly and narrowly ribbed, wavy and irregularly lobed, with rim deeply crenate; the inner segments tightly clustered at centre, heavily frilled, minutely crenate. Mid-season. Strongly scented |
