Fl. forming a double triangle, 70mm wide; perianth segments 32mm long, ovate, acute, mucronate, spreading, with margins incurved and a little wavy, creased, of membranaceous substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments slightly narrower, shouldered at base; corona 23mm long, funnel-shaped, angled, mouth expanded, ribbed and heavily frilled, with rim flanged and entire.
