Description |
Fl. 90mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, mid-yellow, with white mucro; the outer whorl 39mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, spreading, concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; the middle whorl slightly inflexed, with margins incurled; the inner whorls successively shorter, strongly inflexed, deeply concave and folded inwards from midrib; corona segments yellow-orange, interspersed among all the whorls of petaloid segments and clustered at centre; the outer whorl 27mm long, smooth, broad and spreading; the inner whorls inflexed, lobed and frilled.
