Fl. 110mm wide; perianth segments 44mm long, broadly ovate in outline, rounded to blunt at apex, mucronate, brilliant yellow 7A, strongly reflexed, convex and slightly twisted, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments a little narrower; corona 50mm long, cylindrical, smooth, brilliant yellow 12A, mouth expanded, wavy and irregularly lobed, with rim notched, crenate and widely flanged. Early. Strongly scented |
