Description |
Fl. 100mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in 3 or more whorls; the outer whorls 37mm long, very broadly ovate, truncate, brilliant yellow 13C, with white mucro, spreading, slightly concave, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls becoming successively more strongly inflexed, deeply concave and folded inwards from midrib; corona segments 17mm long, interspersed among the petaloid segments and clustered at centre, light orange 28C, broad and heavily frilled. Mid-season. Sunproof. Sweetly scented |
