Fl. rounded, 118mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in 3 or more whorls, mid-yellow; the outer whorls 49mm long, broad, roundish, mucronate, spreading, with margins incurved, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls a little inflexed and concave, becoming folded inwards at midrib; corona segments 30mm long, interspersed among the inner whorls of the petaloid segments and of a deeper tone, becoming shorter, narrower and more strongly inflexed, with margins wavy.
