Fl. forming a double triangle, 98mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in 3 or more whorls; the outer whorls ovate, blunt, spreading, plane to a little concave, smooth, overlapping one-third to a half; the inner whorls becoming successively more inflexed, concave and folded deeply inwards from midrib; corona segments interspersed among the petaloid segments and clustered at centre, broad and sometimes bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, inflexed and crumpled towards centre.
