Fl. 120mm wide; perianth segments 50mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, truncate at apex, scarcely mucronate; corona 12mm long, bowl-shaped, narrowly ribbed, mouth narrowly flared and lightly frilled, with rim dentate.
