Fl. 112mm wide; perianth segments 43mm long, very broadly ovate, truncate, scarcely mucronate, white, slightly reflexed, plane or with margins a little incurved, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, spreading; corona 26mm long, split to more than half its length, the six segments each closely overlying a perianth segment, forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, the same width as the perianth segments, bi-lobed, lightly creased, deep pink, touched greenish yellow at base, heavily frilled. Strongly scented. Sunproof. Mid-season to late |
