Fl. 30mm wide, facing upwards, opening vivid yellow 9A, becoming light greenish yellow 8B; perianth segments 12mm long, lanceolate in outline, acute at apex, with slight pale mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, separated; the inner segments narrower; corona 14mm long, cup-shaped, lightly ribbed, mouth a little wavy, with rim rolled slightly inwards and minutely crenate.
