Description |
Fl. 84mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, light greenish yellow 2C; the outer whorls very broadly ovate, blunt, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorl narrower, shorter, strongly inflexed, more nearly concave; corona segments in several whorls, pale pastel pink (18C), with a narrow band of brilliant yellow 13B at rim; the outer whorl half the width of and interspersed among the petaloid segments, smooth; the inner whorl strongly inflexed, clustered at centre, frilled to a little crumpled.
