Description |
Fl. rounded, 98mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, white; the outer whorls 40mm long, roundish, very broad, truncate, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurling, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls shorter, more strongly inflexed, folded inwards from midrib; corona segments 16mm long, interspersed among the inner whorls of petaloid segments and clustered at centre, sometimes bi-lobed, pink, with a narrow band of a slightly darker tone at rim, frilled at centre.
