Fl. star-shaped, 115mm wide; perianth segments 50mm long, lanceolate in outline, acute at apex, slightly mucronate, lemon yellow, a little inflexed, convex, strongly twisted or folded along midrib at apex, smooth and of heavy substance; corona 60mm long, cylindrical, angled, golden yellow, mouth expanded, lightly ribbed and irregularly lobed, with rim crenate and narrowly flanged. Lightly scented. Mid-season |
