Fl. 90 wide, facing slightly downwards; perianth segments 40mm long, roundish, very broad, scarcely mucronate, spreading, concave, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 15mm long, bowl-shaped, ribbed, mouth expanded and frilled, with rim crenate.
