Fl. rounded, 75mm wide; perianth segments roundish, very broad, blunt, mucronate, mid-yellow, spreading, plane or with margins a little incurved, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona cup-shaped, ribbed, mouth flared and wavy, with rim crenate.
