Description |
Fl. 100mm wide, facing slightly upwards; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, opening light yellow (4D), becoming yellowish white 155D; the outer whorl 40mm long, roundish, truncate, mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins a little incurved, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments a little narrower, scarcely mucronate; the inner whorls concave, successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards the centre; corona segments 30mm long, interspersed among the petaloid segments and clustered at centre, opening vivid yellow 12A, becoming yellow-orange (23A), frilled.
