Description |
Fl. 95mm wide; perianth segments 34mm wide, very broadly ovate in outline, rounded at apex, mucronate, light yellow, paling towards apex, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 28mm long, split to base, forming an outer whorl of three spreading segments and an inner whorl of three inflexed segments, each overlying a perianth segment, pink, with yellowish overtones, darker in tone towards rim, yellow at base, the inner whorl a little darker in tone, lobed and heavily frilled. Strongly scented. Mid-season |
