Description |
Fl. 95mm wide; perianth segments 35mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, yellow, with slight white mucro, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 25mm long, split to more than half its length, forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, each half the length of and almost as wide as the perianth segments and closely overlying them, orange, deeper in tone towards the rim, with yellow at base, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, frilled. Strongly scented. Mid-season |
