Fl. 95mm wide; perianth segments 35mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 28mm long, split to more than half its length, forming an outer and a slightly inflexed inner whorl of three, three-quarters the length of and as wide as the perianth segments and closely overlying them, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, lightly frilled. Strongly scented. Mid-season |
