Fl. forming a double triangle, 33mm wide, deep golden yellow; perianth segments 12mm long, ovate, blunt, with white mucro, spreading, plane or with margins a little incurved, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments narrower; corona 15mm long, cylindrical, smooth, mouth ribbed, slightly expanded and lightly frilled, with rim broadly flanged and minutely crenate.
