Fl. star-shaped, 35mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 17mm long, oblong in outline, blunt at apex, prominent pale mucro, reflexed, plane to a little convex, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; corona 12mm long, cylindrical, broadly ribbed, mouth a little expanded, wavy and shallowly lobed, with rim notched.
