Description |
Fl. 100mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, white; the two outer whorls very broadly ovate, blunt, scarcely mucronate, plane or with margins a little incurved, with midrib showing, of membranaceous substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards centre, concave or folded inwards from midrib; corona segments less than half the length of the petaloid segments, interspersed among them and clustered at centre, wavy, more frilled towards the centre, deep yellow, sometimes with a hint of orange.
