Description |
Fl. 40(35-45)mm wide, facing downwards, deep golden yellow; perianth segments 17(15-20)mm long, ovate, blunt, prominent pale mucro, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments a little narrower; corona funnel-shaped, broadly ribbed, mouth expanded, lightly frilled, with rim notched. Dwarf. Very early. A group characterised by the conspicuous, upright, green spathe which remains green as the flower matures |
