Fl. rounded, 79mm wide; perianth segments 32mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt to truncate, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane, with margins a little incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, truncate, scarcely mucronate; corona 16mm long, cup-shaped, angled, broadly ribbed, mouth straight and wavy, with rim narrowly flanged and minutely crenate.
