Fl. rounded, 58mm wide; perianth segments 22mm long, roundish, broad, truncate, mucronate, a little reflexed, plane to slightly concave, with margins incurved, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, more nearly spreading, scarcely mucronate; corona 3mm long (13mm wide at rim) disc-shaped, ribbed, mouth expanded and frilled, with rim crenate.
