Fl. star-shaped, 102mm wide, facing downwards, pure glistening white; perianth segments 42mm long, ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, a little reflexed, convex or a little twisted, smooth and of heavy substance, separate; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 13mm long, cup-shaped, ribbed, mouth broadly ribbed, a little expanded and wavy, with rim minutely crenate.
